Add bold, italic, underline, or a highlight

Format selected words from the bar above the selection.

1. Select the words you want to format.
2. In the bar that appears above the selection, click Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, or Highlight.

To remove the formatting, select the same words and click the button again.

Highlights are yellow, and they print. The bar also has Add Note; see Add a note to a line.

Note: eDraft keeps highlights in eDraft scripts (.draft) and in Final Draft files (.fdx). Fountain files can’t keep them. A highlight is eDraft’s own mark: other apps, including Final Draft, may not show it.
