Send a script to a Final Draft user
Choose the right file to send, and what arrives with it.
Which file to send depends on the kind of script:
- If you opened the script from a Final Draft file (.fdx): Send that file. eDraft has already saved your changes to it. To find it, choose File > Show in Finder.
- If the script is an eDraft script (.draft): Choose File > Export > Final Draft, then send the .fdx file you save.
Notes you add to a .fdx file appear in Final Draft as notes titled [eDraft], with your name as their author.
Note: eDraft saves your highlights in the .fdx file, but Final Draft may not show them. If the script has locked pages, see Edit a Final Draft script with locked pages before you send it.
