Save scripts in iCloud Drive or on your Mac
Where eDraft keeps your scripts, and how they’re saved.
An eDraft script is a file with the .draft extension. You can keep it in any folder on your Mac or in iCloud Drive.
When you save a new script, eDraft suggests the eDraft folder in iCloud Drive. Files in iCloud Drive are available on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account.
After you save a script the first time, eDraft saves your changes as you work.
A .draft file holds the script, its notes, and its named drafts. Apps that read Fountain can’t open it. To give a script to one of them, see Export Fountain or plain text. A .draft file made by an earlier version of eDraft is Fountain text; eDraft updates it the first time you change the script.
